Red Barn Radio Welcomes Driving Rain For A Tribute Concert to Driving Rain founder, Jim Willoughby Celebrate His Memory with Bluegrass Music
Formed in early 2002, its current lineup produces a hard-driving sound based on the traditions of Bill Monroe, Reno & Smiley, Flatt and Scruggs, Larry Sparks, Ralph Stanley and Charlie Waller. A five-piece group, music centers on solid harmony and rhythm, as well as crisp banjo works, fine licks on the mandolin and solid bass notes keeping everything together! We are a traditional bluegrass band that brings to mind the bands of the past yet a sound that is distinctly its’ own.
Jack Willoughby – bass and bass vocals;
Sean McCormick – lead guitar; lead, tenor and baritone vocals;
